Rachel Kelly returns to the Royal Opera House

Now a graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme, mezzo-soprano Rachel Kelly returns to the Royal Opera House as a guest artist singing Mercédès in Francesca Zambello’s classic production of Carmen.Conducted by Alexander Joel, Rachel performs from 14 to 30 November.
Continuing to broaden her repertoire, Rachel recently made her role debut as Nerone with Jonathan Cohen and the Irish Chamber Orchestra in their acclaimed production of Agrippina, and goes on to create the role of Catherine (The Devil Inside) for Scottish Opera, which tours in both the UK and Canada. Elsewhere, Rachel makes her role debut as Teresa in La sonnambula this season with Orchestre de chambre de Paris at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
