Daniel Blendulf debuts with Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra

Daniel Blendulf makes his debut with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra this week, conducting Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole, Tiensuu’s False Memories I – III and Strauss’ Don Quixote on 9 October, alongside soloists Ilari Angervo and Tuomas Lehto.
Blendulf, who commences his role as Chief Conductor and Artistic Advisor of Dalasinfoniettan this season, also returns to the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra with soloist Janine Jansen later this month, and other upcoming Nordic highlights include concerts with Trondheim Symfoniorkester and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Following his successful debut with Sydney Symphony Orchestra last spring, he will soon return to Australia to conduct the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.
