Alexei Volodin and Behzod Abduraimov perform at the Rotterdam Gergiev Festival this week. On the morning of 12 September the artists combine forces to perform Rachmaninov’s Suite No.2 for two pianos, preceded by solo works by Medtner, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and Liszt.

In addition to the recital, both artists perform concerts with Valery Gergiev and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. On 11 September Behzod performs Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, whilst on 12 September Alexei Volodin performs Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.1.
