Dalia Stasevska debuts with Sinfonieorchester Basel
1/6/2015
This week Dalia Stasevska makes her Swiss debut, conducting Sinfonieorchester Basel on 7 June. She leads the orchestra in Erwin Stein’s chamber arrangement of Mahler’s Symphony No.4, with soprano Klara Ek. The concert is part of the orchestra’s new chamber series, ‘Promenades’, which takes place in Basel’s Gare du Nord.
Earlier this week, Dalia conducts the Orchestre de Paris – where she is currently Assistant Conductor — in a family concert featuring Stravinsky’s Petrushka on 4 June, and later this summer she returns to the Savonlinna Opera Festival to conduct a concert featuring Haydn’s The Creation.
