Oleg Tsibulko makes European operatic debut in Eugene Onegin at Angers Nantes Opera

Moldovan bass, Oleg Tsibulko makes his European operatic debut this week at Angers Nantes Opéra as Gremin in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. Directed by Alain Garichot and conducted by Łukasz Borowicz, performances run from 19 to 28 May.
After taking second prize in the 2013 Neue Stimmen Competition, Tsibulko joined the company of the Bolshoi Opera in Moscow where his roles have included Don Alfonso, Sparafucile, Colline and Count Rodolfo in La sonnambula. This season has brought some notable concert engagements to his schedule with Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle at the Opéra-Théâtre de Limoges under Jacques Maresch, Melisso (Alcina) with the Russian National Orchestra and Haydn’s Nelson Massunder Mikhail Pletnev.
