11/9/2015
This week, Moldovan bass Oleg Tsibulko debuts in the title role in Le nozze di Figaro at the Bolshoi Theatre under William Lacey. With performances from 17 September, this debut follows his recent success at Angers Nantes Opéra as Gremin (Eugene Onegin) under Łukasz Borowicz.
The Neue Stimmen Prize winner is steadily building a strong reputation throughout Europe with performances as Zambri in Ciro in Babilonia at the Rossini Festival to come this summer, alongside his performances in the ensemble in Moscow where roles include Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) and Colline (La bohème).
