Sakari Oramo conducts the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin on 8 May in a concert featuring Dvořák’s The Noon Witch, Anders Eliasson’s Symphony No.4 and Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1 with Sir András Schiff as soloist.
Following this performance in Berlin, Oramo returns to London a few weeks later for the finale of his critically acclaimed Nielsen Cycle with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Centre. Having recently played a central role at the world’s largest Sibelius and Nielsen Festival in Stockholm, Oramo’s Nielsen performances have been highly praised.
