This week Stephen Hough performs at four concerts with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under Andris Nelsons. 

Hough joins the orchestra on 18 and 19 March at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, for Dvořák’s Piano Concerto, and then performs Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 with them at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on 20 March and at Leeds Town Hall on 21 March.

The Birmingham performances are being recorded by Hyperion Records for future release on a disc that also features the live recording of Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the CBSO and Andris Nelsons from November 2014.
