On 3 December Alexey Stadler makes his UK concerto debut with the London Chamber Orchestra performing Elgar’s Cello Concerto at Cadogan Hall.

The concert is conducted by the LCO President, Vladimir Ashkenazy, and the programme also features Sibelius’ Rakastava and Shostakovich’s Two Pieces for String Octet and Chamber Symphony.

Stadler will perform the concerto again later this season when he makes his debut with the Münchner Symphoniker under Andriy Yurkevych.
