This week, Claudia Boyle makes her role debut as Gilda in Leo Muscato’s production of Rigoletto at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, under Renato Palumbo. Claudia’s performances begin on 22 October and mark her return to Rome after successful appearances as Tytania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Cunégonde (Candide) and Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail).

Claudia also makes a number of company debuts this season, including a recent performance with Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden as Adina (L’elisir d’amore) under Matteo Beltrami and an upcoming interpretation of Mabel in English National Opera’s new production of The Pirates of Penzance, directed by Mike Leigh.
