Santtu-Matias Rouvali makes his debut with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in a subscription concert on 16 October, where the programme includes Sibelius’ Symphony No.7 and Holst’s The Planets. He conducts the orchestra in The Planets again on 18 October.

The concerts mark his second Scandinavian engagement in recent months, having already made his conducting debut with the Gothenburg Symphony in August.

Later this season he returns to Sweden to conduct the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and also makes his debuts with the Wiener Symphoniker and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
