Georgia Jarman makes her role and company debut as Ellen Orford in Grange Park Opera’s production of Peter Grimes. Stephen Barlow conducts the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in Jeremy Sams’ production, which opens on 30 May. Performances continue on 7, 11, 15, 18 and 21 June.

The role is in contrast to Jarman’s most recent appearance on the European opera stage, when she sang the title role in Malmö Opera’s production of Manon earlier this season, under Leif Segerstam.

Jarman returns to the UK stage next season, when she makes her Royal Opera House debut as Roxana in Kasper Holten’s new production of Szymanowski’s Król Roger, conducted by Antonio Pappano.
