Sol Gabetta makes her debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker in a concert conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. She performs Elgar’s Cello Concerto with the orchestra on 20 April, as part of the Baden-Baden Easter Festival. The programme also includes works by Ligeti, Wagner and Stravinsky.

Gabetta returns to the orchestra the following month, when she performs Martinů’s Cello Concerto No.1 on 23, 24 & 25 May, in concerts conducted by Krzysztof Urbański at Berlin’s Philharmonie.
