Kodo continue their 30th Anniversary Tour of Europe with its extraordinary thirty five concerts including a residency at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. On 9 March they performed at Grande Salle de l’Arsenal de Metz and Colisée Roubaix the following night. The Japanese drumming group began their journey in Uppsala, Sweden, and have performed in venues including Konzerthaus Dortmund and Dublin’s National Concert Hall.
At the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris they performed DADAN, which was Kodo’s first production with Tamasaburo Bando, their newly-appointed Artistic Director and generated a large amount of press interest in France, with newspapers including Le Figaro and Le Monde reporting on proceedings.
