A new Double Concerto for violin, cello and chamber orchestra by Birdsong composer PatKop entitled The Play premieres on 17 – 18 May. PatKop and Sol Gabetta perform alongside commissioner Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, conducted by Markus Poschner at LAC Lugano.

The programme also includes Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.2, de Falla’s Seven Spanish Folksongs and Sibelius’ Symphony No.1.
