
Kristiina Poska embarks on two tours with Orchestre Francais des Jeunes

Kristiina Poska launches her tenure as Music Director of Orchestre Français des Jeunes with two dynamic European tours. The first tour features a vibrant programme of Debussy’s La Mer, Yar Maresz’s Recto, and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.23, joined by acclaimed pianist Alexandre Tharaud. Performances take place at the Saline royale of Arc-et-Senans on 14 August, the Berlin Konzerthaus on August 16, and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw on 17 August.
The second tour begins with a return to Saline royale of Arc-et-Senans on 25 August, followed by appearances at the Berlioz Festival in La Côte Saint-André on 27 August, and the International Festival of Santander on 29 August.This programme showcases Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, and Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No.2, once again featuring Tharaud at the piano.
