On 4 May, Nicolas Altstaedt premieres Quinta Materia for Cello and Orchestra, by Malika Kishino, alongside conductor Elena Schwarz and the WDR Sinfonieorchester. Also featuring on the programme are Lisa Illean’s An acre ringing, still (2023) and Cassandra Millers’ Bismillah meets the Creator in Springtime (2022) featuring the composer and Silvia Tarozzi.
