Akiko Suwanai joins forces with Stéphane Denève and St. Louis Symphony Orchestra to perform the US première of Guillaume Connesson’s Violin Concerto, Lost Horizons on 21 and 22 March. Based on James Hilton’s 1933 novel of the same name, the concerto takes inspiration from the fictional Tibetan monastery, Shangri-La.
