Hannu Lintu has been appointed as Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s (SSO) new Music Director with effect from the 2026/27 season. He will be appointed for an initial three-year term, taking over from Maestro Hans Graf.

I look forward to collaborating with these wonderful musicians and the wider community, and to exploring new creative heights and engaging deeply with audiences both here in Singapore and internationally.”

Lintu will conduct the SSO for two weeks in the 2025/26 season as Music Director-designate.
