JAVIER PERIANES ON TOUR IN THE AMERICAs

This January, pianist Javier Perianes embarks on a series of performances in Cartagena, Naples (Florida), and San Diego.
In Cartagena, Colombia, Perianes takes the stage at the Cartagena de Indias Festival with Orquestra Sinfonica de Castilla y Leon under the baton of conductor Thierry Fischer. On January 4th at 7:00 PM, he performs Manuel de Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain at the Teatro Adolfo Mejía. The following day, January 5th at 11:00 AM, Perianes presents a recital featuring Enrique Granados’ Goyescas at the Chapel of the Santa Clara Hotel.
Perianes then heads to Naples, Florida, where he joins the Naples Philharmonic as soloist for Jimmy López’s Ephemerae, led by their Music Director Alexander Shelley, with concerts on 9 and 11 January at Frances Pew Hayes Hall. Javier will also join musicians from the orchestra for chamber music performances on 7 and 12 January at the Daniels Pavilion, playing Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet, Op. 44.
Finally, Perianes collaborates with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Eduardo Strausser. He performs Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 during two concerts on 17 January and 18 January at the Jacobs Music Center.
