HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome French conductor and harpsichordist Camille Delaforge to its roster for worldwide general management.
Praised for her “dynamic and inspired” conducting by Forum Opera, Delaforge is acclaimed for her nuanced and expressive performances, particularly in the Baroque repertoire. Prominent recent engagements include Festival d’Aix-en-Provence (where she was a resident conductor last summer alongside Emmanuelle Haïm), Oude Muziek Festival, Festival de Bilbao, Salzburger Festspiele, Festival de Radio France and Orchestre national de Cannes.
The 2024/25 season sees Delaforge taking on Purcell/Dido and Aeneas with Netherlands Chamber Orchestra at Dutch National Opera, Rameau/Pygmalion with Opéra Royal de Versailles, and engagements at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and Grand Théâtre de Provence, among others. As Artistic Director of period ensemble, Il Caravaggio, she conducts over fifty performances this season at prestigious venues including Opéra de Rennes, Opéra Angers Nantes, La Seine Musicale and Festival Saint-Denis.
