Off the back of her Asian and Japan debut with Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra at the start of November, Tabita Berglund travels to Sweden for another debut with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. She performs the Swedish premiere of Helen Grime’s trumpet concerto night-sky-blue with Håkan Hardenberger as soloist. The concert opens with Thorvaldsdottir’s Metacosmos, and the second half consists of the Prelude from Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, which leads straight into Sibelius’ Symphony No.7.
