25/9/2024
Philharmonia Orchestra heads to Finland and Estonia with Principal Conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali, violinist Nemanja Radulović, and cellist Marcel Johannes Kits, who makes his Philharmonia debut.
On 16 October, Santtu conducts the Philharmonia in his native Finland. Philharmonia Featured Artist Nemanja Radulović joins him in Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto, along with Glinka’s Overture, Ruslan and Ludmila, and Sibelius’ Symphony No.3 at Tampere Hall.
The orchestra crosses the Baltic Sea on 17 October to perform at Tallinn’s Estonia Concert Hall, with the addition of Elgar’s Cello Concerto performed by Marcel Johannes Kits, replacing the Khachaturian.
