Golda Schultz and Pene Pati are nominated for the International Opera Awards 2024

We are excited to reveal that two HarrisonParrott VOICE artists have received nominations for the International Opera Awards 2024
Golda Schultz has been nominated for the Recording (Solo Recital) award, for her recent album Mozart, You Drive Me Crazy! Released on Alpha Classics, Mozart, You Drive Me Crazy! is devoted to the heroines of Don Giovanni, Cosi fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro, roles that have marked Schultz’s career from the Glyndebourne Festival to The Metropolitan Opera. A beautifully curated programme brings Da Ponte’s libretti to life in collaboration with the Kammerakademie Potsdam and fellow Mozartian Antonello Manacorda.
With numerous acclaimed operatic debuts including in L’elisir d’amore (Nemorino) at Opéra national de Paris and San Francisco Opera and Roméo et Juliette (Roméo) at San Francisco Opera, Pene Pati has received a nomination for the Male Singer category. Upcoming, Pene Pati releases his anticipated second album Nessun Dorma this month on the Warner Classics label, gives his first performances as Gounod’s Faust at Opéra national de Paris and makes highly anticipated debuts at the Royal Ballet and Opera, Covent Garden as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Bohème under Speranza Scappucci, and at the Metropolitan Opera as Duca in Verdi’s Rigoletto conducted by Maurizio Benini.
The International Opera Awards is set to take place at the Bayerische Staatsoper’s Prinzregententheater in Munich on 2 October, and will be live streamed free on OperaVision.
