On 8 September, Stephen Milling opens the new season at Royal Danish Opera, appearing as Filippo II in Davide Livermore’s new staging of Verdi’s masterpiece on the complexities of love and duty, Don Carlo. Conducted by Jordan de Souza, performances continue on 14, 17 and 20 September.

Following Copenhagen, Milling returns to Dallas Symphony as Hunding and Hagan in Der Ring des Nibelungen under the baton of Fabio Luisi.
