Pierre-Laurent Aimard makes multiple appearances at this year’s Musikfest Berlin including an afternoon of songs by Ives, Stravinsky and Debussy with soprano Anna Prohaska on 1 September, a solo evening recital on 2 September to mark the shared 150^th anniversaries of Schoenberg and Ives, and two performances of Ives’ Symphony No.4 and Cziffra Psodia by the late Peter Eötvös’ with Jonathan Nott and Berlin Philharmonic on 7 and 8 September. 

On 8 September, Riccardo Minasi conducts Ensemble Resonanz for a programme featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No.3.
