Ava Bahari joins forces with Gothenburg Symphony’s for their opening concert of the season, marking Bahari’s first appearance with the orchestra as their artist-in-residence for the 2024 – 2025 season.

Under baton of Santtu-Matias Rouvali, audiences in Gothenburg will have the opportunity to see Bahari perform Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto three times, on 4, 5 and 6 September.

Bahari, Rouvali and the Orchestra also perform later in the month for concerts in Malmö and Copenhagen with the same programme.

Later in the season, Bahari will return to Gothenburg in January, teaming up with musicians of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra for an evening of chamber music and then reuniting with Rouvali in February for several performances of Sibelius’ Violin Concerto.
