An unusual edition of Bruckner’s orchestral masterpiece, played by a select group of members of Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, whose earlier recording of a chamber version of Symphony No.7 received high praise. Reviewing a live programme, The Washington Post wrote of ​“a satisfying evening of sophisticated, expressive music making with a precision ensemble as snug as the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.”

CAMERATA RCO is playing a BBC lunchtime concert in Wigmore Hall on 1 July. The programme features Bruckner’s Symphony No.6 in arrangement for ensemble by Rolf Verbeek.
