Samuel Lee joins HarrisonParrott for Worldwide Management

HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome conductor Samuel Lee for worldwide general management. Winner of the recent Malko Competition, he looks forward to an extensive list of guest engagements worldwide in the coming seasons, building on his already-growing presence in Europe and North America (where he is Associate Conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra). Previously, he was awarded first prize at the BMI International Conducting Competition in Bucharest and the International Conducting Competition in Taipei.
Orchestras he has conducted include Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Bamberger Symphoniker, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Hamburg Camerata at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Leipziger Symphoniker at the Gewandhaus, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Korean National Symphony Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, SAC Festival Orchestra, Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt State Orchestra and Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra.
An avid promoter of contemporary music, he has conducted several orchestral and ballet premieres, including pieces by Bryce Dessner, Giuseppe Gallo-Balma, and Marc Migó. He was also a conducting fellow with the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music in 2021 and 2022, where he worked with conductors Cristian Măcelaru, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Octavio Más-Arocas and Marin Alsop.
