Dalia Stasevska returns to Australia for her debut with West Australian Symphony Orchestra in a programme of Nordic masterpieces – the Australian premiere of Tarkiainen’s The Ring of Fire and Love, Sibelius’ Symphony No.5 and Greig’s Piano Concerto with Alexander Gavrylyuk. Concerts take place on 28 and 29 June at Perth Concert Hall and on 30 June at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre where the concert opens with Sibelius’ Finlandia.

She then travels across the country to debut with Sydney Symphony in two concerts on 5 and 6 July in a programme featuring works by greatest composers of her homeland — Rautavaara’s Cantus Arcticus, Saariaho’s Concerto for Harp with Xavier de Maistre and Sibelius’ Symphony No.5.
