Six HarrisonParrott and Polyarts Artists attend the Grafenegg Festival 2024
Conductor Pablo Heras-Casado appears at Graffenegg Music Festival leading Bayreuther Festspielorchester in a special performance on 29 August at the Wolkenturm.
The programme features fragments from Wagner’s Die Walküre, including Erster Aufzug, Ritt der Walküren and Leb’ wohl, du kühnes, herrliches Kind. Heras-Casado is joined by soprano Vida Miknevičiūtė, tenor Michael Spyres and bass Günther Groissböck.
This concert takes place after Pablo Heras-Casado completes the Parsifal performances at Die Bayreuther Festspiele in his second year of collaboration with the festival.

Gautier Capuçon performs Elgar’s Cello and Orchestra Concerto and Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique with Orchestre National de France and Cristian Măcelaru on 31 August.

Lawrence Foster conducts Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich on 8 September at the Grafenegg Music Festival. The programme includes music by Barber, Tilson-Thomas and Beethoven, and features actress Ruth Brauer-Kvam.
