Four HarrisonParrot artists & orchestras perform at Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada

On 20 June, Tabita Berglund conducts Orquesta Ciudad de Granada with a programme featuring Sibelius Finlandia Op. 26, Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.2 played by pianist Juan Floristán, and Sibelius’ Symphony No.5 at Palacio de Carlos V.
Wiener Philharmoniker travel to Granada on 23 June with conductor Lorenzo Viotti performing Rimski-Korsakov’s Spanish Capriccio, Rachmaninov’s Die Toteninsel, and Dvořák’s Symphony No.7.
Orchestre de Paris perform two concerts at Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada on 29 and 30 June. In the first concert, they are joined by their Music Director Klaus Mäkelä and soprano Christiane Karg, performing Arnold Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night, 1943 version) and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.4. The second concert features a programme including Stravinsky’s Petruchka (Ballet, 1947 version) with piano soloist Jean Baptiste Doulcet, Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, and Mozart’s Symphony No.31.
