Orchestra de Paris perform two concerts at Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada on 29 and 30 June. In the first concert, they are joined by their Music Director Klaus Mäkelä and soprano Christiane Karg, performing Arnold Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night, 1943 version) and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.4. The second concert features a programme including Stravinsky’s Petruchka (Ballet, 1947 version) with piano soloist Jean Baptiste Doulcet, Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, and Mozart’s Symphony No.31.
