Eimear Noone conducts National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland on 22 May, her hometown debut performance after two decades in music.
The performance focuses on works by Irish composers or featured in Irish film and media, including Noone’s own compositions Malach, Angel Messenger (from World of WarCraft) the First Movement of Elgar’s Cello Concerto featured in the 2007 feature film August Rush, excerpts from Noone’s original show Daughters of the Pirate Queen, and more. She is joined by fellow Galway native, solo cellist Adrian Mantuu.
