Hannu Lintu completes Finnish National Opera and Ballet’s new Ring Cycle production, with 6 performances of Götterdämmerung opening on 17 May. 

This follows his performances of Die Walküre in 2022 and Siegfried in 2023, and is the culmination of 5 years of work which began with Rheingold in 2019 conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, which went on to be interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This new Ring Cycle has been the work of a prominent all-Finnish creative team, bringing the tetralogy to Helsinki for the first time in over a decade.
