From 21 to 26 April at Teatr Wielki Opera, choreographer and director Anna Hop premieres Pinocchio, a Ballet in two acts by Mieczysław Weinberg, from Hop’s libretto inspired after the novel by Carlo Collodi.

Drawing inspiration from Collodi, Anna Hop weaves an original story fit for the modern age. One thing remains the same: the universal message about the hardships of growing up. With Malgorzata Szablowska on set, lighting design and projections, and Katarzyna Rott on costume design.
