Hot off the heels of his portrayal of Daland (Der fliegende Holländer) at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Stephen Milling returns to the role of Hagen in Berlin Staatsoper’s Der Ring des Nibelungen on 24 March. Conducted by Philippe Jordan and staged by Dmitri Tcherniakov, there is another performance of Götterdämmerung on 1 April. 

On 29 March, Milling also appears with Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich in the Grafenegg Good Friday concert to perform Act III of Wagner’s Parsifal conducted by Roberto Pasternostro. 

Following on from this debut appearance at the Grafenegg Festival, he continues with the role of Gurnemanz in Christof Loy’s staging of Parsifal and under the baton of Alan Gilbert at Royal Swedish Opera on 13 and 18 April.
