Ambur Braid makes her role and company debut as Senta in Barrie Kosky’s production of Der fliegende Holländer for Komische Oper Berlin. The performances, conducted by James Gaffigan, open on 15 March at the Schillertheater. A longstanding collaboration with Barrie Kosky also brought Ambur’s role debut as Salome in his production for Oper Frankfurt which has been reprised numerous times, most recently this season with critics commenting ​“Ambur Braid has probably found the role of her life in Salome.
