The Van Gogh In Me Tour, featuring the Netherlands Chamber Choir, enchants audiences in Hong Kong and China from 1 – 2 March at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre during the 52nd Hong Kong Arts Festival, 6 — 7 March at the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
An enchanting evening with Camerata Bern takes place at Philharmonie Essen on 17 March, featuring captivating solo violinist and Artistic Partner Patricia Kopatchinskaja and masterful cellist Thomas Kaufmann. The alluring repertoire showcases a blend of traditional Ukrainian-Russian and Moldovan folklore alongside masterpieces by Schnittke, Schubert, Ysaÿe, Panufnik, and Retinski.
Orchestre de Paris will be spending March across the pond making their long awaited return to the USA and Canada with their Music Director Klaus Mäkelä. They begin their tour at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor on 14 March then moving on to New York’s Carnegie Hall on 16 March (which marks Klaus’ debut at the iconic venue), followed by Boston Symphony Hall on 17 March, before concluding the tour in Montreal at Place des Arts on 19 March. Yunchan Lim will be joining the orchestra on the tour, performing Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.2. The programme also includes Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faun, Stravinsky’s The Firebird and The Rite of Spring.
Don’t forget to also join us on our ongoing tours with Kodo at Salle Pleyel in Paris (1, 2 and 3 March), Cité des Congrès in Nantes (6 March), Le Liberté — Rennes (7 March) and Amphithéâtre 3000 in Lyon (9 March). Further dates include return visits to NOSPR in Katowice (19 March) and Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb (24 March).
