ARTS PARTNERSHIPS & TOURS: FEBRUARY’S MUSICAL TAPESTRY

In February and March, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Music Director Jaap van Zweden and featuring pianist Alexandre Kantorow, embark on an eight-concert tour across Europe.
This marks the orchestra’s first European tour in over eight years, with performances scheduled at prestigious venues such as Dresdner Philharmonie (24 February), Tonhalle Zürich (26 February), Halle aux Grains Toulouse (28 February), Grand Théâtre de Provence in Aix-en-Provence (29 February), De Doelen in Rotterdam (2 March), Stadtcasino Basel (3 March), Santa Cecilia Hall in Rome (5 March), concluding at Klarafestival at Bozar in Brussels on 8 March.
Kodo heads out on an extensive European tour in February and March, spanning the UK, France, Poland, and Croatia. The tour kicks off in the UK with performances at Warwick Arts Centre on 1 February, Anvil Arts in Basingstoke on 3 February, and the Barbican in London on 5 and 6 February.
The ensemble then travels to various French cities, including Palais de la musique et des congrès in Strasbourg (26 February), Le Nouveau Siècle in Lille (28 February), Salle Pleyel in Paris (1, 2 and 3 March), Cité des Congrès in Nantes (6 March), Le Liberté — Rennes (7 March), and Amphithéâtre 3000 in Lyon (9 March), before concluding the tour with return visits to NOSPR in Katowice (19 March) and Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb (24 March).
