Sol Gabetta joins forces with the prestigious Wiener Philharmoniker at Mozartwoche Salzburg under the baton of conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada on 3 February. The programme promises a captivating journey through works by Mozart, Haydn, and Salieri.

The evening kicks off with Mozart’s enchanting Symphony in G major, setting the Großes Festspielhaus stage for Sol Gabetta, who showcases Joseph Haydn’s Cello Concerto. Later that evening, Mozart’s comic gem, Der Schauspieldirektor (The Impresario) meets Salieri’s masterful Prima la musica e poi le parole in a blend of scenes from both one-act operas.
