Eduardo Strausser returns to City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra on 31 January, 1 and 2 February with concerts in Birmingham, Nottingham and Sheffield. Strausser is joined by Jess Gillam in Birmingham and Sheffield who performs Escapades for Alto Saxophone (from Catch Me If You Can) by John Williams and Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Fantasia para Saxophone. In Nottingham, Strausser is joined by Charlotte Saluste-Bridoiz for a performance of Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending. The programme also includes Rossini, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Stravinsky.
