Mishka Rushdie Momen makes her Spanish debut in recital at the Guggenheim Bilbao auditorium on 18 January. The recital takes place during the museum’s Marine Hugonnier exhibition Field reports, which explores the artist’s cinematographic-based works. 

The recital programme takes inspiration from the exhibition and nature, and includes pieces by Rameau, Schumann, Janáček, Ligeti, Messiaen, and Ravel. The programme is introduced by musicologist Patricia Sojo, who analyses the relationship between the repertoire and Marine Hugonnier’s works, and continues the conversation after the recital, interviewing Mishka Rushdie Momen.
