Dalia Stasevska returns to the US to lead Seattle and Cincinnati symphonies. With three concerts on 16, 17 and 18 November, she conducts music from Scotland and Finland with Seattle Symphony in a programme of Anna Meredith’s Nautilus, Sibelius’ captivating Symphony No.5 and Lauri Porra presenting his Entropia: Concerto for Electric Bass and Orchestra.

She then leads Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra during the Thanksgiving week with concerts on 25 and 26 November and a programme featuring the Going Home theme from Dvořák’s Symphony No.9, Kaija Saariaho’s True Fire with bass-baritone Davóne Tines, Walker’s Lyric for Strings and Sibelius’ Symphony No.5.
