At this year’s 30th anniversary edition of Operalia, Julie Roset was awarded first prize by an esteemed jury of international casting directors after a stunning performance of Où va la jeune Hindoue from Délibes’ Lakmé. Julie competed in Cape Town, South Africa, against 34 contestants from around the world to make it to the final on Sunday 5 November.
