Soprano Lauren Fagan sings her first Gutrune in Andreas Homoki’s new staging of Götterdämmerung at Opernhaus Zürich under Music Director Gianandrea Noseda, opening on 5 November. The final part of the Cycle runs until 3 December this year and returns as part of a full cycle in April and May 2024. 

In addition to engagements in Zürich, Fagan has her much-anticipated Opera Australia debut later this season, singing Angelica in Puccini’s Suor Angelica at the Sydney Opera House. She also has planned engagements in France singing Agnès in Benjamin’s Written on Skin with Orchestre National de Lille and repeats the role of Gretel in the Royal Opera House’s revival of Anthony McDonald’s production of Hansel and Gretel under the baton of Mark Wrigglesworth.
