French Harpsichordist Jean Rondeau returns to Japan for multiple solo recital performances in Tokyo, Mitaka, Nishinomiya, and Sapporo. His programmes alternate between his critically acclaimed interpretation of J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations and his much-praised exploration of works by Fux, Haydn, Clementi, Beethoven, and Mozart under the title Gradus ad Parnassum, both of which are available as recordings from Warner/​Erato.

Rondeau’s tour sees him appear at Tokyo Oji Hall on 25 October, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Recital Hall on 26 October, Mitaka City Arts Centre on 28 October — where he also gives a pubic masterclass the previous day — Hyogo Performing Arts Centre on 29 October, and Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara on 31 October.
