Masaaki Suzuki, founder of Bach Collegium Japan, debuts and opens the Barock+ series of HR Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt in the HR Sendesaal on 28 and 29 September. He conducts Bach’s Brandenburgisches Konzert No.2 and Orchestersuite No.4, as well as Mendelssohn’s Reformations-Sinfonie.

This is Masaaki’s third debut this season and comes shortly after the ones in Los Angeles Philharmonic and Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo. Other engagements of this 2023/24 season are his return to Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, NHK Symphony Orchestra and Spanish National Orchestra among others. He will also have an extense European tour with Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
