Santtu-Matias Rouvali opens his third season with Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall. On the night of 21 September, Maestro performs Verdi’s Messa da Requiem with Philharmonia Chorus. On 24 September, Santtu-Matias opens with Sibelius’ Symphony No.6, followed by Shostakovich’s Concerto for Piano and Trumpet with Seong-Jin Cho and Jason Evans. The concert continues with Shostakovich’s Symphony No.6 in the second half.
