In addition to his work as Berliner Philharmoniker’s Composer in Residence, Jörg Widmann makes his debut as a conductor with Berliner Philharmoniker on 9 and 10 September. He joins forces with his sister Carolin Widmann to perform his Violin Concerto No.2 at Berlin Philharmonie. The programme also includes Widmann’s Con brio and Fantasie for clarinet solo, as well as Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.5. The concert on 9 September is also streamed online at the orchestra’s Digital Concert Hall.
